At the boot camp, we will focus on communication skills and processes. Communication is a crucial aspect of any job, but it is especially important in water damage restoration. You will learn how to effectively communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, and other technicians on the job site.

Document

In addition, we will focus on documentation. Proper documentation is essential to any restoration job, as it provides a clear record of the damage, restoration process, and final outcome. We will discuss how to document once you arrive, during, and after the job is completed, including taking accurate readings, sketches, and progress notes. We will educate you on how to enter jobs into Encircle and include everything done throughout the job. This is crucial to the effectiveness of the billing process and getting paid for work that was done.

Innovate

Innovation is also important in the restoration industry. New technologies, techniques, and regulations are constantly being developed to improve the restoration process and provide better experiences for customers. We will explore the latest innovations in the industry, including new equipment and techniques for water extraction, drying, and mold remediation. It is important as technicians to have a foundation of knowledge and skills to meet the unique needs of each job.

Hands-on-Training

Throughout the bootcamp, you will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities to practice your communication, documentation, and innovation skills. As a group, we will walk through a flood from start to finish to ensure every step of the process is highlighted. You will also have the chance to network with and collaborate with other technicians in the industry, sharing best practices and learning from each other’s experiences.
